Notes for pre-installation:
1). You need to check whether your PC operating system is Win 7 or not (Volvo Dice 2014A supports Win 7).
2). Check your Disk C whether have 40GB space (install in Disk C is a must).
1. Run CD-ROM, and then copy file “2014A patch” into the desktop.
2. Open file “Install” >> “DVD” >> “Vida_dvdheader” >> “Main” and run “setup” application (shown below).
3. It will pop out a new window “VIDA- Installation Wizard”, select
“VIDA All-in-one” and then finish the installation step by step
according to the system tips (Note: Please wait until the software
complete installation, it usually takes about 30 minutes to 2 hours to
finish the process).
4. Next comes out the following interface, click save and then close it.
5. Just click “No, I will restart my computer later” and finish it.
6. Run “2014A patch” on the desktop, and then open “VIDA All-In-One” and login.
7. Select “DEFINE VEHICLE PROFILE”,
8. It will pop out another window and then click “DICE CONFIGURATION”
and choose “TEST COMMUNICATION TOOL” on the small window popped out.
9. Press “Run” to start the test.
10. After the result shows OK, come back to click “READ VEHICLE”(shown
at the picture of step 8). You need to complete information and click
“OK”.
11. Click “DIAGNOSTICS”, it will come out the vehicle details.
12. Choose “FAULT TRACE” to know the detailed fault code source.
