Happy Number

Write an algorithm to determine if a number is "happy".

A happy number is a number defined by the following process: Starting with any positive integer, replace the number by the sum of the squares of its digits, and repeat the process until the number equals 1 (where it will stay), or it loops endlessly in a cycle which does not include 1. Those numbers for which this process ends in 1 are happy numbers.


Example: 19 is a happy number

  • 12 + 92 = 82
  • 82 + 22 = 68
  • 62 + 82 = 100
  • 12 + 02 + 02 = 1

思路:多次使用自定义的求平方和函数, 关键在于分离给定数的各个位置上的数,通常使用 s=n%10 ,n=n/10 方法进行数字处理

代码如下:
	public  boolean isHappy(int n)
	{
		int sum=powsum(n);
		while(sum>9)
		{
			//不满足条件时,多次调用
			sum=powsum(sum);
		}
		if(sum==1)
		{
			return true;
		}
		return false;	
	}
	
	private int powsum(int n)
	{
		int sum=0;
		//使用while循环
		while(n!=0)
		{
			//分离数各个位置上的数
			int s=n%10;
			//求平方和,其中Math.pow(x,y) 意思为x的y次幂
			sum=(int) (sum+Math.pow(s, 2));
			n=n/10;
		}
		return sum;
	}

补充:可以使用HashTable 对每一次powsum返回的值进行记录,如果HashTable中已经有记录,则说明进入了死循环,直接返回false,
