when you install gnome, then you want to use some of the state-of-the-art applications, such as the weather, music, photos, maps, installed, you can do that based on the followings steps:
apt-cache search gnome-weather, you can obtain the information about the application
sudo apt-get install gnome-weather gnome-music gnome-maps gnome-photos.
Then, you can launch it in the terminal: such gnome-music or the search: music.
