I have recently completed a project which was the big job of visual course. As a homework, of course, it is non-routine. It need a plan to finish the homework before the deadline. The objective of this project is to finish the homework. I need to create a product of museum tour system. This project had a predetermined time plan. The project is divided into four phases. Spend a day collecting reference books, four days writing codes, two days testing the project and doing some modification. The museum tour system is used not only by myself, but also professor and customers. This works involves several specialisms such as simplifying museum maps into undirected graph.
The initial objectives is create a museum guidance system, which can calculate the fastest route to the designated location for the user, and help users navigating. In addition, accomplish the target of visualization of multiple related information for different exhibits. In plan, the projected would started at Tuesday and finished in Sunday. Actually, it started at Tuesday, but finished in next Monday.
I used 7days to finish this project. And internet fee, electric charge. The computer and matlab are needed to be used as tools. In a week’s labor, I wrote the codes, checked the error and optimize the product.
The outcome of my my project:
It can show the shortest path to the destination.
It had a function of positioning.
Statistical analysis is used by exhibits information
The initial objectives:
Set the sensing point.
Calculate the recent route.
Route navigation.
Visualization of information on exhibition items.
