Why Improvement?
Improvement, which means making things better, is the one we always expect in our life. That’s radically true and no argument among us. (Those who expect things get worse may ignore this article…-_-#)
But what about improvement on work? It seems that it’s business of boss but not mine, some thinks. (I also think so in my early working years.)
Really?
When we were studying at school, we knew that it would take double, triple or quadruple even decuple efforts if we want to score 90 (or more) rather than 60.
What we got after that? The honor when you ranked the first in your class? Or, the feeling of satisfaction when you got award from your parents? (Seems yes…)
No, they are not. The most valuable you acquired was the knowledge itself, steady and stable in your brain.
You will hardly forget the knowledge as time goes by if you really master it. (For example, I still can help kids of my relatives and friends with their lessons years later. How great I am! ^_^)
Back to our work.
Is it the boss or the company that the only one that benefits from improvement?
No. Absolutely not. I bet!
It’s YOU that gain the most!
We admit that your company or boss really benefits when your improvement promotes the efficiency and leads to others’ improvement.
But compared to what you gain for yourself, it’s trivial.
Why?
We believe that the daily improvement makes you stronger in knowledge or ability of handling with business every day.
But in fact, the most that improvement changes is you! More accurately, it’s COURAGE!
Be curious about surrounding, is regarded as being childlike. But it’s also the most interesting and fastest growing days in our childhood.
Years by years we have grown up, and seems that we are familiar with all around. It is dull, boring, even stereotypical. And we don’t think it is meaningful to change something!
You are WRONG!
It’s you that dull, boring and stereotypical rather than the environment!
It’s the COURAGE you lose that makes you lazy!
What the most wonderful in life is to try bravely!
Whatever success or failure, at least I tried! I get experiences which those timid never get! I will not regret when my final time comes. My life is complete!
Just the COURAGE! Accumulated from your daily improvement, change your life little by little, make it bright and colorful!
Never stop improving yourself! For your beautiful life!
