redhat系统上启动网络有时候会出现这样的报错信息Determining IP information for eth0... failed; no link present. Check cable，具体是什么原因引起的也不知道网上只提供了解决信息

解决方法：

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth<n>

/etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth<n>

在这两个文件中加入

check_link_down(){

   return 1;

}

若果存在这个文件/etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/ifcfg-eth0，然后重启一下网络服务即可。还有如果电脑上安装了叫某60的流氓软件，注意不要把VMware的相关服务停掉了，当然停掉了也没事，在使用VMware的时候记得开启相关服务即可。比如你把VMware虚拟机的dhcp服务关了，也会出现上述报错（Determining IP information for eth0... failed）。
